A happy truth [04 Nov 2009|11:45am] phut Yeah, I seem to complain a lot... or just voice my opinion on things that annoy me. But anyway, I do want to say that despite all that, I am a happy guy. See? ^_____________________^ I think what continues to keep me happy is that I am OK with what's going on in life. I don't get to understand why people get so stressed out in life about things that aren't that important. Maybe I haven't had that in life and I will never understand. But knowing that I have a good family, great friends and a GOD that loves me is enough. My faith in God has kept me sane many times over the past several years. The people around me shine with the brightness with a life of joy from the love of God. That is why I am happy. No, it's not some kind of happiness that takes away problems. Problems happen and they are unavoidable. But how I handle it with God's help, that's the difference. I don't talk much about faith in these posts on the Internet because I usually am caught up in other things and I just don't have time to reflect much. But everyday I still just smile because life isn't as difficult as it needs to be. God's got my back. post comment

Things that annoy me [04 Nov 2009|11:12am] phut I'm super bored in front of my computer, so I will just throw out a list of things/people that I find annoying or just dislike. This is all off the top of my head, so I probably have more later. TV shows MTV- because they don't have music anymore and their "reality" shows suck! Dancing shows- dancing is cool, but the ever so popular growth of these shows just annoys me. Vampire fad- Vamps haven't been cool since Buffy. Vamps are now the new goth, and that's not cool. Proof right here courtesy of South Park. Because South Park makes fun of it. Family Guy- not funny Glee- taking my favorite old school songs and making them sound worse. Plus, high school drama is stupid. CBS comedy shows- Except HIMYM, CBS comedy isn't funny. Throwdown with Bobby Flay- This guys invades people's parties, tell them his food is better, and then ruins their fun by forcing them into competition. Hate him. Game shows with stupid contestants- dumb people don't deserve to win money if they can't answer easy questions. Music Kanye- synthetic voice is bad. Great producer, but no love for Gayfish. Emo/whiny/weak music- you know People who don't know things about the Beatles- I mean, come on! If I say Goo-Goo-Ga-Joob, everyone knows what's up! Not enough guitar solos- Give me more of that! Mariah Carey- cool singer, but not that talented. Lil Wayne- I loved his early works, but his newer stuff I just don't dig. Movies Stupid, not funny movies- Explain to me how movies like "I Love You, Man" and "The Hangover" are funny movies. These same genre movies are bad. Superhero movies that don't need to happen- Stop remaking Superman, giving us Fantastic Four or other heroes no one cares about. Transformers- Not that good. High School Musical- NO Twilight- Vamps no Non-Samuel L. Jackson movies- because he needs to be in every movie. Internet stuff Farmville- NOBODY CARES! LOL- if it's not funny, don't use it. AIM/chatting- Maybe it's me, but chatting online is not fun anymore. Photo cutoff- You are in a group picture, and you decide to use just your face from that group picture in your profiel. In the process, you crop out everyone else and it just looks stupid out of place. Twitter- I only use to it gather information on things related to work. Other than that, useless. MySpace- weak. Misc - If you don't leave me a message on my cell phone, I won't call you back. - People that don't silence their phones during important things like meetings, church, etc... then when it rings, takes 30 seconds to answer. - Rich people - The police - Christmas: there is no Jesus in it anymore. Here are some things I do like TV: South Park, The Simpsons, 10 Items or Less, documentaries of important historical things, sports, Disney Channel to escape reality. Music: 50s-90s rock. Classic hip hop. Basically music before I was born is my favorite stuff. The Beatles, Queen, Led Zepp, The Who, Dr Dre, 2Pac, Dru Hill, Styx... yeah, you know em. Movies- Anything creative is good. LOL needs to go away [26 Oct 2009|10:59am] phut I don't mind LOL. It's a cool Internet lingo. BUT!!!! LOL does not need to be in anything that isn't funny. I am sick of people writing things like.
